Hours on the Road: 7 hours + 2 hours on the ferry
The last province for us to visit was Nova Scotia. We would have loved to hit all ten, but Newfoundland & Labrador is just too far away. Since we only have nine days in PEI, we couldn't afford to stay overnight in Nova Scotia and take up some of our PEI time. We had to get up early and make it a day trip. The original plan was for us to visit Peggy's Cove yesterday but it rained and the weather forecast for today was sun and high of 27. More weather lies! It was hot and muggy but it was basically overcast for the entire day. Peggy's Cove would have been more exciting if the water wasn't so calm. The fog also didn't bring out it's best scenery. Nonetheless, we enjoyed walking on the rocks and taking it easy.

Seafood chowdah. It was okay. Nothing to get out of my seat and dance about.

Peggy's Cove population: 35
On our way back to the ferry terminal we stopped in Halifax. There were some activities happening by the water so we took a stroll along Halifax Harbour. Aaron says that Halifax has some fun places to hang out in on the weekends at night. It was Thursday and in the daytime so we went to rip it up at Starbucks instead.

Did You Know? It's free to come to PEI (by ferry or bridge) but it costs you money to leave.
Once we got off the ferry we went straight to Trevor's (Aaron's friend) house. Trevor's wife, Krista, brought out some appetizers with the highlight being the amazing mushroom caps. We did not try to be polite about grabbing and eating multiple pieces. No pictures again to avoid creepster status.
