Hours on the Road: 8

Downtown Winnipeg.
We only had one quarter for showers yesterday and I was selfish and took it. When it comes to cleansing there's no room for courtesy. By now Aaron had been without a shower for two days, so he said a lake swim was necessary. We went to the beach at Falcon Lake and sadly we didn't see any dramz that was seen in the short-lived Canadian TV show, Falcon Beach.

Shortly after leaving Falcon Lake we were in Ontario. We were quickly impressed with its nicely paved roads. Mmm... smooth roads. It was nice out around dinner time, but it was still too early to stop our drive and set up camp, so we pulled over at Dixie Lake.

No breakfast or lunch pictures this time. They were the same ol' bacon + eggs and meat sandwiches!

Aaron thought he made too much pasta. He was sooo wrong.

Aaron found a baby lobster in the lake. I think we're close to our destination.
*durp! What we saw was crayfish.*
We didn't quite hit our mark today. Instead of Thunder Bay we stopped short at Dryden. Since we were running behind we thought another Wal-Mart night would be best. It would make for a quick clean up. The only disadvantage of Wal-Mart is that there aren't any restrooms or forests for me to pee in late at night. I realized that tonight and luckily there was a Timmy Ho's across the street. That washroom was worth the $1.10 muffin.
