Traffic Lights Bring Smiles

July 22nd Day 6 Moose Jaw, SK - Brandon, MB

Hours on the Road: 5

Morning view at Buffalo Pound Lake

Aaron and I were ready to get out of Saskatchewan right when we woke up. We walked a bit around Regina but really wasn't digging the unexpected hail. My confidence in the weather forecast is slipping. HAIL!

I still can't remember why we decided to take the exit into Grenfell. I don't watch horror movies, so it's back to Aaron to describe the town. "It was like the setting for Trolls 2 without the trolls." We didn't stick around for too long, so who knows, there may have been trolls hanging around. (If you're wondering why Aaron's seen Trolls 2, you're not the only one.)

Chinese food in Grenfell... hmm... how much are we missing it?

I knocked on the little door, Aaron noticed stares and said we should get going.

Brandon! I was happy to see traffic lights and strip malls with big box stores. We parked ourselves in the Wal-Mart lot, popped our top and made dinner. The time change is really working against us. Every day we move forward we lose an hour. Ah well, I guess there could be worse things to complain about.

I TOLD YOU saskatchewan was boring...haha! And you didn't believe me! Cool pics tho. I am very impressed with your eats on this trip! Did you at least stop inside the Chinese restaurant to say hi and purchase a spring roll?
