Hours on the Road: 6
We shamed Vancouver and the Canucks. We knew we were low on gas but we thought we could make it to Louise's. Hugo sat by himself while we walked to the gas station. The worst part? Aaron was wearing his Canuck t-shirt as we took the walk of shame with our gas can. I'm sure a lot of Flames fans were laughing at us.

Right is the car that pulled over and offered to help. Jeff Winger, I guess "man is good".

Aaron and Louise

One of Louise's suggestions was to visit Horseshoe Canyon, which is right before Drumheller. I've never seen a canyon before and I'm sure it's no Grand, but it was pretty cool anyway. There were helicopter rides, but us poor folks couldn't justify spending $60 each for a 5 minute ride.

Aaron got a pack of Montreal smoked meat and I chose the best, bologna!
Drumheller! The Royal Tyrrell Museum! Dinosaurs! It was nice to see original pieces and not just replicas for a change. We learned that there are way more dinosaurs than the ten they introduce to us in elementary school. I'm still going to stick with the Brachiosaurus as my favourite. Obvious Aaron hearts T-Rex (Stegosaurus was a close second…and the wooly mammoth).

This one's for Landon!
We got to set up our campsite in Medicine Hat with some light still out this time. Our first fire was made! Driving days are going to be getting longer now and unfortunately Aaron will be doing it all. Hugo's confidence in me driving standard is low, which is understandable since I don't know how! The plan was for Aaron to teach me in the prairies but we agreed maybe lessons would be better left for when we're back in Vancouver.

Playlist:
get FUNKY SHAZAAAAAAAAAM - Stephen (I had a good time hand dancing)
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds - Dean (I was picturing John Stamos playing with them on Full House)
Yee Haw! Outlaws & Heroes! - Scott (Loved the first track. Before putting in your CD we had been singing the one line over and over again because we didn't know the rest)
Shannon Across Canada (Artists A-C) - Matthew (It helped us relax around our campfire…as I did some more hand dancing)
