Hours on the road: 5.45
Leave at 6am Saturday morning. That's what we said we would do.
Shannon slept in and Aaron still hadn't finished his laundry by morning. We didn't hit hwy 1 until 3pm. Slightly off schedule.
Arrived in Vernon at 8:45pm and ate some delicious burgers made from the BBQ of Sean and Jennas. Late start aside, the first day turned out pretty good. We listened to some great tunes, met up with old friends and new and the driver rewarded himself with a nice cold maple cream.

Thanks for coming by, it's to bad we didn't get out on the lake with you guys, but maybe on the way back. For anyone who might be having these guys stay at your place: make sure Shannon has her contact solution and fruit in a basket along with the specially designed fork for eating. Great to see you guys, have fun and drive safe!
